With the media denied any access to Notre Dame’s remaining practices this week, we are left with just the couple minute glimpse that FIDM’s RINGMASTER, Jack Nolan gives us on Watch ND.
So, watching that clip a few times and adding it to my brain diary entry from yesterday’s video… I am getting pretty damn excited about the potential that this offense has this season. As a group, the receivers look more athletic than at any point (as a group) than I can remember having in the recent and not so recent past.
A few things:
- Mathias Farley is spending this training camp on the various ways to hold an opponents jersey while in pass coverage.
- I love everything about Tarean Folston, Greg Bryant, and Cam McDaniel. EVERYTHING.
- Usually I have a “People’s Champ” picked out in the spring, but I’m still struggling. Joe Schmidt & Cam McDaniel are great candidates, but their hair is HORRIBLE and I’m not sure if I can overlook that fact.
- Apologies to my children’s godfather, but I’m asking Brian Van Gorder if he can take that role over. I love his interviews and he is a massive step up in that category over Bobby Diaco.
I wish I had more to offer that wouldn’t be complete bullshit, but stay tuned… I may change my mind.
