Notre Dame got their seeding Sunday along with 71 other teams. The Irish are the #3 seed in the Midwest region.

This in no way comes as a surprise. That fact, however, still didn’t keep Irish fans from blasting the “diss” as we saw a Duke team that the Irish beat twice claim a #1 seed.
And I didn’t even mention the fact that the Irish just won the ACC Tournament.
The Irish are in the same bracket as Kentucky- AND SO FUCKING WHAT!
Mike Brey spoke earlier…
“When you lose 17 games, I didn’t put a non-league schedule together thinking, ‘Well, I want to get a two seed instead of a three seed.’ I’m hoping and praying and lighting candles at the grotto to be an 11 seed in freaking Dayton, so I could care less.”
Despite Brey’s incorrect usage of “COULDN’T care less,” his sentiment is absolutely right. Even if the Irish were given a #2 seed, they would still be in this bracket (that’s my story). So… WHO GIVES A SHIT?! Notre Dame is on fire right now and looks ready to attack this tournament with a full head of steam.
Somebody has to beat Kentucky- right? Now who’s going to beat Northeastern?
