Strong night for the Irish as Chris Watt became the 4th Notre Dame player selected in rounds 2 and 3 and the fifth overall, when the San Diego Chargers took Watt with the 89th pick.
Really good spot for Watt, and he will reunite with Manti Te’o. Watt formed a powerful tandem with first round pick Zack Martin for the past three years.
