It's being reported across multiple sites that Amir Carliise has suffered an injury, possibly breaking his collarbone, and Chase Hounshell has dislocated a shoulder. Both players were out all season last year with injuries and both were expected to become big contributors in 2013.
While both are probably done for the spring (nothing has been said officially from Notre Dame about either player) it sounds as if their seasons not yet in jeopardy.
We will watch this very closely. Although Amir has been seen as a player that will contribute quite a bit this year, Hounshell might be the biggest concern because of the need for depth along the defensive line. I'll have more once there is more reported by Notre Dame and Brian Kelly.
