Manti Te'o is the most decorated college football player in history. Michigan's Charles Woodson held the record with five postseason awards, but Te'o just topped that tonight after winning the Maxwell Award, making that the sixth award for Te'o.

Manti got to this total by also winning the Walter Camp Award:

Does it even matter if Te'o wins the Heisman? Not really. The Heisman would be insane right now, but after you look at Te'o's other awards, and the fact he is playing in the BCS National Title game is enough.
Manti Te'o is the greatest college football player ever.
