Oh, it’s on. On like Donkey Kong wearing a Billabong thong. It’s Bagpipe Monday, charging hard back into the race with a can of Rolling Rock in the right hand and the other eleven in the left hand. After almost a month of uncertainty, your Emperor feels that it is time to get back into the mix.
In other words… things are good.
On Wednesday June 15th, The Wife Supreme and I were able to bring our newborn son home from the hospital after two and a half weeks inside the NICU (Neonatal Intensive Care Unit).
Break out the pipes and let them blast their triumphant sound across the mountaintops!!!
If only there were mountains in northwest Ohio.
So, to backtrack a little bit… Victor had pneumonia when he was born, which led to a long list of complications. Although he was very critical in those first few days, he came around like a true champion very quickly.
During this time, I made a decision to put Subway Domer on slow motion until, whenever. Well, I guess I did say possibly until the end of July… but that has now changed for the better as well.
Starting today, Subway Domer is back in full swing. Make sure you chase that shot of bourbon with a shot of bourbon. I want to thank everyone that contacted me via email, website comments, Facebook and Twitter during our time of distress. So many of you wrote so many kind words and offered prayers that I was unable to respond back in kind. Thank you so very much. Honestly, your kindness helped me from completely losing it. I have a lot of love and passion for Irish football. Now imagine that same love and passion times 1000 directed towards my family and friends.
Again… Thank you, and let’s get this thing rolling once again!
