There is still a chance Ian could play against U$C- but I sincerely doubt it. There is hope for Ian to be able to play in a bowl game, but if not… his time at Notre Dame has ended.
That is horrible news for a team that needs its anchor more than ever. Williams was playing as well as any nose tackle in the contry until Saturday.
