Welcome back to Bagpipe Monday on Subway Domer. Friends, Kyle Rudolph may be the best tight end we have ever had at Notre Dame. That’s somewhat of a bold statement, considering that the Fighting Irish have had a long line of great tight ends play beneath the Golden Dome, but Rudolph has all the potential to be the greatest.
Which brings me to this… why is he playing? Clearly, Kyle is struggling right now. He has a difficul;t time shooting up from a 3 point stance, and his route-running looks slow and menacingly painful. That bad hamstring ain’t gonna heal itself. He needs to sit the bench against Western Michigan, and Navy, and Tulsa if that is what it takes to get him back to full speed for games against Utah and U$C.
Just rest him. Ragone, Eifert, Golic, and even Welch can handle this shit. Save a leg… play a Golic….
Don’t forget to vote in this weeks poll, and enjoy the pipes!
