Hey, it’s game week motherfuckers! It seems like an eternity has passed since we last saw the Fighting Irish on the field. And what a game th- OVER.
Oh, we’re back, but it’s time to move on. Miami. Those super fast underachievers from the Sunshine State. For as much shit as Notre Dame has took for being mediocre for the past decade, Miami is well on its way. And to be honest, there is no way that a team like Miami with NFL talent sleeping within a short drive of its campus- should ever be in that position.
It would be nice if this game would live up to the billing that it is being sold under, but these are two teams that are light-years apart from one another as well as the teams that they once were. Still, though… there is a strong feeling amongst the faithful, that Irish football is on it’s way back.
Victory would seal that prophecy.
