Many of you, if not all of you, have already learned of Louis Nix’s commitment to Notre Dame. What is lost in the wake of a decommitment from Chris Martin, and of course the coaching search that is underway at ND, is how outstanding this Louis Nix commitment is for Notre Dame.
I’ll make this simple. If you have followed recruiting, even in the slightest, for the past decade than you will understand what an amazing situation the decision from Nix was.
Nix is from Jacksonville. He was verbally committed to Miami. He is one of the best prospects in the country. He plays defensive tackle. Notre Dame doesn’t have a head coach. Not only did he walk away from Miami, he turned down offers from the defensive line factories of Florida, Florida State, and Ole’ Miss. Wrap your brain around that.
