E.J Banks committed to the Irish on Friday making him the 14th verbal commit for the incoming class of 2009. The 6’0″ 182 lbs. cornerback from McKees Rocks in Pennsylvania chose Notre Dame over Ohio State, Pitt, Tennessee, Virginia Tech, Florida State, and you get the point.
Banks is a man without a true position according to the internet recruiting services (Scout, Rivals, and ESPN’s Scout INC.) that have him rated as a three star prospect.
Banks is listed as an athlete but he most certainly will be coming in as a cornerback and possibly as a return man as well.
As always, recruiting is so important to adding depth to a team. The Irish may have no better depth than at cornerback where they have already added Marlon Pollard earlier in the year and have a bevy of young talent on the roster right now.
YEAH DEPTH!
Welcome To ND Banks!!!
