Just when it seemed like the game was one-sided, it became competitive in the second half. The third quarter of the game was almost purely a three-pointer game for the Houston Rockets, as they were able to score 9 out of 13 during that period. This included a four-point, scored by Robert Covington drop the Lakers’ lead to 80-79 before he adding another triple to give his team a two points lead over the Los Angeles team in the quarter.

With little less than four minutes left to the end of the game, Anthony Davis, who has been a driving force throughout the game, gave his team a 113-101 lead.

Following their loss in Game 1 on Friday, James said that the La Lakers needed a live-action to adapt to the speed of the Rockets.

Speaking after their win against the Rockets, James said: “Sometimes you need one game to be able to understand the speed that they play with. We adjusted from Game 1 to Game 2.

“(The Rockets are an) extremely fast team. Everyone keeps talking about ‘small ball’, but their speed and their activity – offensively and defensively – is something that can catch you off guard in something like a Game 1 situation.

“We got a feel for that. We understand how hard (it would be on) every possession, how much running, how much scrambling, how much pace, how physical the game was going to be against this team because they are very good, extremely good, no matter who is out on the floor. We did a good job of that tonight.”

The Lakers were able to score up to 54 points in the paint also scoring 27 points from 17 turnovers made by the Houston Rockets and with the odds provided by newzealandcasinos.io several fans should be able to take home some earnings too.

Anthony Davis scored 34 points, 10 rebounds, and 4 assists in 36 minutes played. James Harden ended the game with the highest points scored in the Rockets team with 27 points, 2 rebounds, and 7 assists, followed by Eric Gordon, who scored 24 points, one rebound, and three assists. Russell Westbrook struggled to get past the Lakers’ defense as he scored just 10 points, 13 rebounds, and 4 assists, he also committed seven turnovers.
