The Boston Globe is reporting that Notre Dame assistant coach, Charley Molnar, could be named the next head football coach at UMass very soon.
Although the news comes as a bit of a surprise, it is by no means a shock. If true, this would be the first staff defection for Brian Kelly since his arrival at Notre Dame. Tim Hinton could still be next to go. Hinton has been rumored to be a candidate to join Urban Meyer at Ohio State.
