Is Te’o going to play for the Irish in 2012, or will he enter the NFL Draft? At one point or another this season, a lot of us have wondered about that upcoming decision of his. If you would have asked me at the beginning of the season, I would have said that I was 90% sure that he would return to Notre Dame for his final year of eligibility. If you would have asked me on Friday, last week, I would have said I was 90% sure he was going to enter the 2012 NFL Draft.
So basically, it’s a lot like his recruitment when he was in high school. We don’t have any real idea exactly.
However, we now have a nugget of hope that the lean is back (if it ever left, or if there was ever one at all) in his return to Notre Dame. His quote about sending Harrison Smith out a winner in Notre Dame Stadium is intriguing. Does this statement shed any light on his decision?
