Chase Hounshell has switched his commitment from the Florida Gators to the Fighting Irish after the Notre Dame coaches made an in-home visit to the Ohio lineman.
So, Hounshell is Irish, and Trent is probably pissed. Not because the 3 star prospect is heading to Notre Dame and not Ohio State (Trent is a Buckeye fan), but because he just told me today that he is tired of the “Blah-blah-blah is Irish” posts. Cheer up big guy, at least a fellow Buckeye is getting it done in the Midwest and not in the inferno of hell, otherwise known as Gainesville.
These are the 3 things I know:
- Kelly and the staff are making a strong push at the end of recruiting season, and are definitely in line to win the Cadillac.
- Someone has to play offense… don’t they? Three of Notre Dame’s current defensive end recruits could also play on the offensive line. I guarantee at least one of those three land in the offensive huddle, but I’m not sure on the “who” exactly.
- Hounshell was rumored to have Tweeted, “Notre Lame.” I need proof. If he did, it has since been deleted, but someone has to have a screenshot, or retweeted it or something.
